PASSIONATE ABOUT ROYAL BERKSHIRE GAME AND BEEF

A Destination

Hidden away in a tranquil mile of Berkshire, The Eastbury Plough has become the most exciting and renowned food destination in the area.

Led by Head Chef Graham White and Louise Powell, the team have collaborated to create an innovative menu of newly designed food experiences and reinvented classic dishes, using only the finest quality ingredients, sourced from the local area.

Food is Our Passion

Chef-Patron Graham and Sous-Chef Adam have passion and inventiveness in abundance, and we know you'll see that in our food.

ARTISAN ALES

Our bar carries the latest ales and wines from the most innovative local micro-breweries and the finest London has to offer. We also offer an ale takeaway container, so that you can carry on enjoying your ale at home

DINE IN STYLE

Whatever the occasion, our restaurant carries the perfect atmosphere; from romantic dinners for two, to gatherings of those close to you.

The Kitchen

"The kitchen's a laboratory, and everything that happens there has to do with science. It's biology, chemistry, physics. Yes, there's history. Yes, there's artistry. Yes, to all of that. But what happened there, what actually happens to the food is all science." - Alton Brown

Graham White

Head Chef/Patron

Award-winning Chef Graham has owned The Plough for 4 years. Mostly self taught from his travels around the globe, he, unlike many chefs, doesn't claim to have received his culinary skills from his grandmother, "Nanny Barbara".

"I had the best grandmother in the world, and I miss her immensely" he explains,

"However" he laughs, "I'm very lucky to have not inherited her "cooking skills"..."

Adam Roche

Sous Chef

A relatively new addition to The Plough's team, Adam has made his mark on the kitchen immediately.

His passion for fresh, modern dishes and re-invention of classics is constant, and we look forward to a new era with his input.

He's not as good-looking as Graham, but he makes up for it with his sense of humour.

Harry Gell

Commis CHEF

Harry used to be very short, but now he's taller than both our chefs. Very annoying,  but he has proved his worth.

He began at The Plough as a kitchen porter but his diligence and hard work have seen him climb to the rank of Commis Chef.
